pyarrow.compute.remainder_checked#
- pyarrow.compute.remainder_checked(dividend, divisor, /, *, memory_pool=None)#
Compute the remainder of the arguments element-wise.
The result has the same sign as the dividend (truncated division). This is equivalent to the C/C++ ‘%’ operator. An error is returned when trying to divide by zero, or when integer overflow is encountered.

Argument to compute function.
- divisorArray-like or scalar-like
Argument to compute function.
- memory_pool
pyarrow.MemoryPool, optional If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
