pyarrow.compute.modulo_checked#
- pyarrow.compute.modulo_checked(dividend, divisor, /, *, memory_pool=None)#
Compute the modulo of the arguments element-wise.
The result has the same sign as the divisor (floored division). This is equivalent to Python’s ‘%’ operator. An error is returned when trying to divide by zero, or when integer overflow is encountered.

- dividendArray-like or scalar-like
Argument to compute function.
- divisorArray-like or scalar-like
Argument to compute function.
- memory_pool
pyarrow.MemoryPool, optional If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
