pyarrow.compute.modulo#

pyarrow.compute.modulo(dividend, divisor, /, *, memory_pool=None)#

Compute the modulo of the arguments element-wise.

The result has the same sign as the divisor (floored division). This is equivalent to Python’s ‘%’ operator. Integer and decimal division by zero returns an error, while floating-point division by zero returns NaN. Use function “modulo_checked” if you want to get an error in all the aforementioned cases.

Parameters:
dividendArray-like or scalar-like

Argument to compute function.

divisorArray-like or scalar-like

Argument to compute function.

memory_poolpyarrow.MemoryPool, optional

If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
