pyarrow.compute.fill_null_forward

pyarrow.compute.fill_null_forward(values, /, *, memory_pool=None)

Carry non-null values forward to fill null slots.

Given an array, propagate last valid observation forward to next valid or nothing if all previous values are null.

Parameters

valuesArray-like

Argument to compute function.

memory_poolpyarrow.MemoryPool, optional

If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
