pyarrow.compute.ascii_ltrim_whitespace

pyarrow.compute.ascii_ltrim_whitespace(strings, /, *, memory_pool=None)

Trim leading ASCII whitespace characters.

For each string in strings, emit a string with leading ASCII whitespace characters removed. Use utf8_ltrim_whitespace to trim leading Unicode whitespace characters. Null values emit null.

Parameters

stringsArray-like or scalar-like

Argument to compute function.

memory_poolpyarrow.MemoryPool, optional

If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
