class pyarrow.PyExtensionType(DataType storage_type)

Bases: pyarrow.lib.ExtensionType

Concrete base class for Python-defined extension types based on pickle for (de)serialization.

Parameters

storage_typeDataType

The storage type for which the extension is built.
